We have displayed our work for years at local NW Shows, Galleries and Craft fairs, including an exclusive Trunk Show at "Beads At Dusties Creek" shop located in Portland, Oregon where I reside. We are members in good standing with the Portland Saturday Market.

My lampworking experience is a continuation of the love  I have of color and design throughout my life. My early experiences were with pencil, charcoal, oil and water colors.

After sailing to Kauai, the Garden Isle, where the flora was exotic, vibrant and beautiful I found my art expressed thru making Leis. Then I was introduced to glass. My previous career, profession, business was building open ocean racing/crusing sailboats.  During this faze of my life I have logged over 58,000 open ocean miles.  This combination of experiences is the lodestone of my career.

My designs will forever be influenced by the memories of the ever-changing weather, the various colors of the ocean sailing from the North Pacific to the warmer waters of the tropics, the beauty of the various fish, wildlife and their habitats found along the way.

I try to meld my glass art with natural materials such as shell, coral and turquoise to reflect my respect of nature's own vast palette of colors.

The peace of mind and soul I found while navigating by the stars, I have found again exploring the art of glass here in my studio in the Pacific North West.
